“SureThing” Roofing System by Nailhead Roofing PLLC
The SureThing Roofing System Guarantee, starts at your roofs decking. The decking is fully cleaned, fastened, plumbed and brought to a flush surface. Once the roof deck is at the correct standard, Nailhead Roofing professionals install a metal flange known as drip edge on the eve of the roof, followed by what is called ice and water shield. Ice and Water Shield is installed in all areas of the roof that suffer from the rain and snow more than the other areas. The following are areas that fit the criteria; roof valleys and roof eves. At the bottom of the roof, known as the eve, Ice and Water Shield will be installed directly onto the roofs decking, lining the entire bottom of the roof. If the roof has any valleys, Ice and Water Shield will be installed in the valley directly onto the roofing deck. Synthetic Underlayment or equivalent, fastened with plastic cap nails is installed from the overlap mark of the ice and water shield, onto any exposed wood of roofing deck. The rake of the roof calls for drip edge over any underlayment unlike the eve where drip edge is installed under the ice and water shield. All shingles and underlayment are installed by a Nailhead Roofing associate; all full shingles are installed using 6 nails. Proper ventilation is determined and installed to meet the requirements of manufacturing codes. All exposed pipes have a “boot,” flashing installed around them. All chimneys are properly flashed, and counter flashed. All areas of roof that meet up to non-roof material are properly flashed and counter flashed. Any exposed nails are sealed with plastic roof cement or equivalent. Once the roof is finished, we will leave the ground looking cleaner than when we got to your property. It’s where the expression “No nails left behind!” comes from. This is Nailhead Roofing PLLC’s SureThing guarantee, and this guarantee is good for the lifetime of your roof.
